- The Leipreacin is known by many other names such as the Fairy Shoe Maker the Luragadan the Shevara and the Tricker. He dresses in a blue coat and a red cap a green trousers golden colour stockings and turned up toes on his shoes. He is about four inches in height and he lives in knocks and lioses. My Mother told me the following story. Once upon a time the Leipreacan helped a man by bringing him to a place where a great feast was held. They went in through the key hole of the door and they went from that upon the cross beam. One of the people at the table sneesed and the man said God bless us.
