A couple years ago Confirmation was given at Balbriggan. The boys from Balscadden had to go to receive Confirmation, The 10th August is the patron day of Balscdden. One R boy among the crowd did not know his Cateshism. When the Bishop asked him what great feast day in the Church is the 15th of August The boy said it was the pattern of Balscadden.
