In Ardfarna about a quarter of a mile from Bundoran there is a field and in it there is a large boulder. There is a holy water font cut out on this large boulder. Mass was said here in Penal times by the late Friar Fitzsimons. Near by this holy water font there is a cave in which the people and the priest used to hide from the English. Around this cave there are a lot of flat stones, and on these stones there are lots of things carved. Swords were found at this cave.
