  1. The Speek Park is a large grass field situated along the main road about a mile outside Ballyshannon. Sheep are associated with this field so it got it’s [sic] name of the sheep field or sheep park.
The Green Lane is a lane branching off the main road about two and a half miles outside Ballyshannon. The lane derived it’s name from the green grass which grows over it.
Heather Hill is a hill opposite the Sheep Park on the other side of the main road.
Heather grows abundantly on this hill so it was called the hill of heather of Heather Hill.
The Bush Field is a field near the main road about a half a mile outside Ballintra.
