  1. There is a lake near the Bar called Loch Mon Finn. It ebbs and flows with the tide. There is no bottom to it and three fair ladies who lived in Wardtown castle are supposed to have been drowned there.
    An old legend says that there is a crock of gold there. It is supposed that the ladies went out to fetch it and that they got tangled up in the reeds and they were drowned.
