  1. Home Made Toys:
    Toys are made at home by the young people of the district. Whistles of burtree; tops from spools; and guns of Elder branch. At Hallow E'en, young people take a turnip and hollow it out and they make two eyes and a nose and a mouth in the turnip they put a lighted candle in it then they hang it up on a tree.
    This is done to frighten the people on Hallow E'en night. In the month of August and September young people make snares to catch rabbits. These snares are made of copper wire.
    A piece of wire about one foot long is got.
    A big loop is put at one end of the wire and a smaller loop at the other end.
