  1. Once upon a time there lived a father and a son. The son was hired to a rich man. The son was always thieving. At last the rich man told his father that he could not keep him no longer and the son was dismissed. The man told the father that his son would be a good robber. So the next day the father started out with his son to look for a job for him. He journeyed all day and at night he met two robbers on horse back. They asked him where he was going. He said he was looking for a job for his son. They asked him what kind of job did he want. He said I want to be a robber. The robbers said they would learn him the trade in one year.
