    A In the country houses.
    Q From where were the cloth obtained?
    A From Derry
    Q How?
    A Sometimes the men would go up to Derry with a cart and horse and take the cloth home for making shirts. Some people used to walk to Derry for the cloth for making shirts.
    Q Where was the material brought to?
    A To this parish
    Q How were the shirts made then?
    A By the hand.
    Q What two kinds of machines were used next?
    A Hand and foot machines.
    Q How many were in each house?
    A Some houses had two and others three
