    A Between the year 1835-1845.
    Why a school was started in Crossconnell?
    A The parents thought it too far for the children to walk to any of the other schools.
    When?
    A 1860.
    What was the first school like and where was it?
    A The first school was very small and it was built in Crossconnell.
    Kind of roof and floor was in it?
    A Thatched roof and a earthen floor.
    Name of any teacher or teachers that taught in the old school?
    A Master Mullen
    When was the present school built
    A 1880
    Who, built it?
    A McDonnell.
