    the robin has a red breast. Others say that the robin flew to the foot of the cross and that a drop of the Sacred Blood fell on his breast and that is why robin has a red breast. A long, long time ago every animal that lived upon the earth could talk. One day King Herod's men were searching for Our Lord and a black animal named "A Clock," told King Herod's men where Our Lord was. On that very day Our Lord struck every beast and insect dumb, and even to this day when anybody sees a clock they never let him pass without killing him.
