  1. This story was told by my uncle who is about 80 years of age. An unjust landlord named Burke of the St. Clearns estate was fired at and a man named Anthony O'Daly was arrested on suspicion for the At the trial Burke swore it was Anthony O'Daly who fired at him. At his trial he was found guilty and and condemned to death by hanging on the hill of Seefinn. Which can be viewed from the house where O'Daly lived in Dugrane. The place where the shafts were put down the grass never grew. People know well that Anthony O'Daly did not commit this crime.
