  1. This story was told by my mother who heard it from my grandmother who was about 80 years when she died. In Templemartin there are the ruins of an old stone temple or chapel. Not far from it also are the ruins of an old graveyard which was also used, it is said, in the older times. It is not known whether it was a saint or a priest or some man by the name of "Martin" that was living there or on whose land it was built, but it now belongs to a man named Dooley.
