  1. Long ago the priests used to say Mass on the mountain of Sliab Dart. There were to caves not very far from the mountain. The name of the place was Scripe The priests used to hide in those caves.
    If the soldiers caught the priests they would cut the heads off them. That was the of time of the famine. We had the famine in our country and they had very little food that time. It was very scarce for the people. What ever little food they had they would have to share it with the priests.
    There used to be a lot of Franciscan priests in it The priests had to dress in plain clothes
