    The stranger then thanked Donelon and immediatly jumped on the horse's back and disappeared in the air.
    The blacksmith, frightened out of his wits went home, and told the whole story.
    He went back to bed, and was ill for quite a long time, He eventually recovered, however and was able to pursue his arducres [?] work in the forge.
    When he was sufficiently well to resume work, he did so, and he was never afterwards without a shilling in his pocket on arising in the morning, even tho' on several occasions (hundreds of times) he went to bed without a penny in his pocket - it was always the same in the morning. The bright silver "bob" was sure to be there in the morning as sure as the sunrise.
