    Dunlo Hill, Ballinasloe.
    The late Matt Harris M.P. for East Galway is buried there. This Monument is the best there. It was erected by his fellow country men.

  2. The kind of houses that were long ago were very small. And were always built down in holes fearing the wind would knock them. They were all thatched. The straw was grown. They rich people thatched with straw. The poor people thatched with scraws and weed. The houses contained of room and a kitchen. Long ago the old people had a bed in the kitchen. It was placed in corner this bed was called
