  1. One day a man from Palistine and an Irishman were aurging as to which of them was living in the holiest country.
    "Well", said the Irishman "this is how we will settle it"
    "Both of us have very long whiskers and for every saint I name you can pluck a hair from my whisker and I will do likewise."
    Now those whiskers were very dear to them they said if they lost their whisker they lost their beauty.
