    The women sat all night spinning and weaving thier own clothes. One a stormy winters day the men patched thier own clothes while the women cooked the dinner.
    Long ago it was all shoemaker's shoes were worn and it was only a gentleman that wore shop shoes. Now every Tom Dick and Harry is wearing shop shoes. Is it not a shame that all those old customs are going out of Ireland- the customs that kept them in house and home-
