  1. The festivals of the year are New year's day. All Catholics go to mass on that day to greet the coming of the New year. The next feast day is St. Brigids day. It is on the first of February, and the people make crosses on that day in honor of St. Brigid. The people put the crosses up in the roof until Brigid's day again. Then they take them down, and make new ones. The next feast day is St. Patricks day. It is on the seventheen of March. All people wear a shamrock on that day in honour of St. Patrick, because is was with the shamrock that St. Patrick taught the true faith in
