  1. One of the Palmers of Shriff had a little hut in a field and used to make soup there. One day Kate Palmer went into James Hartes Cornlaughta Dromahair and told him and his wife that she would give them a can of daily if they would say certain prayers. The told her that they wouldnt take the soup. The house is still to be seen on John James Darcy's farm in Cornlaughta.
