    Riddles.
    (1) What has eyes and cannot see? ans = potatoe.

    (6) What beats a good wife. Ans = A bad husband.
    (7) A man walked thirty miles and got sixpence for every mile what had he at the end. Ans = Sore feet.
    (8) Four men bought a pound of beef, what time was it? Ans = A quarter to one.
    (9) As round as an apple, as deep as a cup and all the men in Ireland wouldn't fill it up? Ans = A thimble.
    (10) Black and white and read all over? Ans = A newspaper.
