    My townland is Shannaghmore.
    My parish is Kilkerrin and my barony is Tyquinn.
    There are twenty eight houses in my townland :- two slated ones and a galvanised one and the remainder thatched.
    Hussey is a very common surname in my townland.
    There are four old pensioners in my townland and they are able to tell stories in English and Irish.
    Only a few people go to America from my townland.
