    Lisheens and Forts.
there is a lisheen in the village of Scotland and it is called Lios na h-Alban. It is just outside the village.
The lios is square and there is a lovely hedge growing round it but there is no hole in the middle of it.
Some people say it is the fairies who live there.
The people of the village who used be going home used see a black man near it, and crying was also heard in it.
There is a lios in our own village called the lios of Una but there is nothing in it but long grass.
there is a bush a little distance away and a light used be seen there but the people never went near it to see what it was, as they were afraid to.
There is another lios in Esker but my people know nothing about it.
