  1. I
There's a home in the hills of Glandore that sweep round the broad open seas,
Where the wild rivers dash on the foam, and the bulrushes wave with the breeze,
The green ivy clings round the door, and the birds sing on each tree
To my darling their notes they do pour but ar Éirinn ní neosfainn cé hí.
    II
The father has riches in store, both cattle and corn and wealth,
And prime land by lovely Glandore while I have but youth and good health.
She's the fond maiden I adore, her love she ..... unto me.
Without riches and with no earthly store but ar Éirinn ní neosfainn cé hí.
    III
Like the sick man who longs for the dawn, I long for the light of her smile.
And I pray for my own coleen bawn, whilst waiting for me by the stile.
She is my joy and my pride, my comfort by night them and she.
And she is my own promised wife but ar Éirinn ní neosfainn cé hí.
