    This well (in b) is above in a tree. When it was on the ground somebody dirtied the water and it moved up. The water goes from this well to Knock Crow every St. Bernard's day.

    They killed a goose and had a great feast for Michealmas. On St. Bridget's Eve they go around with the "Brigidógh". They killed a cock for St. Martin's and sprinkled the blood in the four corners of the house. There is an inscription on a tombstone in Irish in Killereren.
