    Shrove Tuesday - there is a feast held in every house before fast of Lent.
    Unlucky days for marriage.
    Odd days of the year is unlucky for marriage - that is the day on which the murder of the Holy Innocent Falls.
    If it falls on a Monday in any particular year no one would dream of marrying on a Monday on that year.
    Monday for Health.
    Tuesday for Wealth.
    Wednesday best day of all.
    Thursday for losses.
    Friday for crosses.
    Saturday no luck at all.
    How they make the matches:-
    The parents meet at the public House and arrange about fortune. Then the couple meet so if they like each other they marry.
