  1. A wooden boat some twenty-five or thirty feet long was found on the shore of the Clooncoo Lough in 1929.
    It was sent to the Museum in Dublin the same year.
    A man named Mr Tom Booth living in Farnaught found a sword at the edge of Cloncoo Lough about two years ago. It was supposed to belong to Prince O’Rourke or King Reynolds.
    The same man found a roll of butter in the bog wrapped up in paper when he was cutting the turf some years ago.
