This happened long ago in Sunnaghmore. A boy and a girl were going to be married. A few days before the time for the marriage the girl got sick and died. A few mornings afterwards the boy was going to a fair and as he was passing by a big field he saw a great crowd dancing and singing i the field. They told him to come in for a turn and so he did. When he went into the field he saw the girl he was going to marry among the crowd. He took he out for a turn and as they were dancing, she told him to hold her tightly and not let her go,He kept a tight grip on her and danced her around to the end of the field. When the fairies discovered what he was up to, they began a great fight with him but he did not let her go and at last he got her over the ditch and as the fairies could not cross over after him he brought her home and they were married and they lived happily ever after.- Collector
