Ar an leathanach seo
- A ship, named The Lark, was wrecked about the year 1834 off the Long Strand. It contained a cargo of wheat. It struck the Black Rocks and three sailors were drowned. The news spread quickly and two women and a man took a load of flour from it and were on their way home when they were arrested.
Another ship, The Droningen, was wrecked near Lick Castle about the year 1882. It was a Norwegian boat and was on their way to America for a cargo of wheat. The local people say it had thousands of empty sacks on board. When it left Norway it called to Glasgow and took from it 11,000 tons of coal as ballast.
