Once upon a time there were two men going from Cork to Dublin with two cars of butter. On their way one stopped at a public house and the other man went his way. It was closing on twelve o'clock when the other man came out of the house.
After travelling some distance he saw an old woman sitting on the side of the road. She asked him for a drive. He said "all right". She went in. The horse stopped and would not go. He came out, he beat the horse. He nearly killed her, and he ill treated her. He asked the woman to come out but she would not.
