  1. An old man on his way from Castleisland on a lovely moonlight night heard, as he thought a crowd of people kicking football in a field near Lisheen bawn. On looking in the field he noticed a crowd of little men in red jackets enjoying themselves kicking football.
He went in them and began playing. After about an hour's playing he made up his mind to go home.
Before doing so he got one last kick at the ball. He then went home without waiting for the ball to come down.
it was when he was going to town the following day the ball again came to the ground.
