  1. Once upon a time there was a man who had a very large orchard which was guarded by a man at night. There were four men who wanted to get into the orchard and they thought of this plan. It was to steal a coffin out of a carpenter's shop and shoulder it into the orchard. They did so.
    When the man at the gate saw them he fainted. They marched into the orchard filled the coffin with apples and came out again.
    When they came out they took the apples home and put the coffin back into the carpenter's shop.
