  1. Every change in the weather is preceded by some signs. The sun, moon, winds, birds, insects and many other things herald an approaching change in the weather. Older people, especially those who live in the country are very skilful at reading those signs. In this district the following signs are very much observed by the people. If the sun has a red or copper colour before it sinks in the evening it is generally believed that fine weather is approaching and if it sinks with dark clouds overshadowing it the general belief is that following day will be wet.
