  1. Some years ago two young lads went fishing to a lake in Drummin called Loch na Quilligan. This lake is between two hills. They had a board for fishing with them and a fishing rod. When they had the board just left down in the lake they saw an animal coming towards them furiously in the lake. They said it had a very big mane and a very big head and they could hear it snuffing in the water. The animal was coming near the brink of the lake and they were getting afraid as they had no weapons with them so they took for the hills as quickly as they could They said it was like a water horse. They never went fishing to that lake again
