  1. We have a churn at home. It is about three feet and a half high. It is wide at the bottom and narrow above the middle and wide at the top. It is about twenty years old.
    These are the differned parts of the churn. The lid, the churndash, the claipin, and the caipin. There is no mark on the churn. Butter is made twice a week in Summer and once a week in winter. If strangers come in during the churning they help with it. If they went out without churning they would bring the butter with them. It takes an hour to make butter in Winter and a half
