    Long ago people used to use herbs for curing sick people. Gladden was supposed to cure a sore throat. It had to be heated by the fire and while it is hot it has to be tied round the sore throat.
    Long ago people used to give nettle soup to all the children in the month of March. It was supposed to keep away sickness for the year.
    Forem-leaf is supposed to cure boils and all sorts of sores.
    There are many kinds of weeds, that grow on the farm chick-weed, praiseac, glorauns, breslauns, sharawauns, dog-leafs, thistles, nettles, and spairmint.
