Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)kept watch at the den while the robbers were at work. The reds had no way to capture the den without her assistance. The robbers had three guns and powder which was loaded with a ram rod. The cunning woman being bribed by the reds dipped the powder in a well which was situated in the den thus putting the powder out of action. When a siege opened one morning the robbers loaded their guns but alas failed as the powder was damp. The reds having no position had plenty time to secure a ladder twenty feet long and killed the robbers who made no defence. They were beheaded and the remains bourn through the parish as an example of(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
