People get married on Mondays for health, Tuesday for wealth, Wednesday the best day of all, Thursday for losses, Friday for crosses, Saturday no day at all.
People say they had more luck long ago when they had horses and traps going to the chapel to be married. Long ago when two were going to get married the man would go first in a horse and car to the church and the girl would go last in another horse and car.
When they would be coming home the two of them would come home together in the first horse and car. It is about thirty five years since they used to go in horse and car. If you were getting married you should have something old and something new and(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
