    Paddy was out with a comrade on the front and he was blocked by a barrier and during a retreat. "Come on Paddy," says his comrade "I can't"—"Why?" —I have taken a presner" "Bring him along with you" "He won't come" —"Then come away without him" — "He won't let me."

    She awoke in the middle of the night and sat up in bed. "I heard a noise downstairs Pat" she whispered. "Well I'm not getting up" replied Pat. "Hun" says the woman "when I married you, you told me you were a courageous man."
    "Yes and that's what my friends said too" replied Pat.
