    his father to the library, where he found his father sitting in his chair- already dead.
    His eldest son and heir, Captain of the Scott Greys' died in an asylum in England.
    His second son, already mentioned, died under very tragic circumstances on the road side near the Railway station at Castlerea.
    Their Castle was twice burned down, on the last occasion when he was entertaining his English friends.
    The last heir to the property left Ireland and took up his residence in England and the estate was sold, divided up into small farms and given to the tenants- thus, the old superstitious prophecy about the S ____ family and Castle came about. viz-
    The Castle would be twice burned- the family would disappear, and the 'Evicted' would inhabit their lands.
