  1. There is a holy well in Ballyglass. There was a well in the place in former times but it is now dried up. It was Saint Patrick that blessed it. There is a stone near the place where the well was. St Patrick knelt on the stone, and the track of his knees are there on it yet. When rain comes the hollow in the stone fills with water, and it is still called St Patrick's well.
    There is a well in Tubrahan and it is called St Brigid's well. On the second of February the people from the parish of
