    Long ago when the people wanted to vomit they used the "Crúibín Sionnach" as they used considered it a very good medicine. They also used it for stomach-aches by boiling it in water and then drinking the juice.
    The "Woodbine" was called in Irish "An Fealóg faoi Chrann". It was used for keeping sheep free from flies and scabs. The "Dréimire Muire" is another plant which grows on the land. It is boiled in sweet milk and then drunk.
    Health was used long ago for colouring articles brown. The moss off the walls when boiled is used for colouring woollen goods. Bog ink is got in the
