    In former times people liked travellers a great deal more than they do nowadays. Generally they are not welcome nowadays in my district.
    The most of the travelling folk now have vans to carry them from place to place and also in which to sleep. Some of the poorer folk travel on foot or in carts and sleep in tents. Sometimes they remain a week in one place and sometimes only for a few days.
