Cruibín Sionnach causes a person to vomit if he had a stomach-ache. This herb was boiled in water and the patient drank the juice, and was relieved instantly. On May Eve the young people used to gather the yarrow, each pulling ten stalks. Nine of these stalks were put under the pillow at night, and the tenth thrown away. The sleeper was then supposed to dream of future wife or husband.
