There is a by-road leading down from the village to the main road, and as Kielty was going along the by-road on this way home, he stood and spoke in a loud voice in a commanding and threatening fashion thus:- "If the stolen clothes are not returned to this poor woman on this very night I will have the thieves arrested and handcuffed, and everybody will see and know them".
