    and drank. People tell that there was never a well there before that day.
    There is supposed to be a holy well of Armstrongs of Parkhill- This place was a monastery and the present house was built with the stones of the monastery. An old graveyard is also said to be there.
    A legend is told about the well, That one of the Artstongs who settled in the place one day caught a trout in the well. It was put on a frying pan to cook but instantly leaped off the pan and made out the door and back into the well again.

    Tobar nagelos [?].- A spring well on the farm of William McCool of Cashelard.
    The March well on John Coghlan’s farm of Behey.
    The Spa well on Edward Gallinagh’s farm in Behey.
