    9. If one sees a breeze whirling a piece of straw etc. with it, one should throw a piece of paper, etc with the breeze so that the fairies would not take you.
    10. The feathers of wild fowl should be let off with the wind as one could never die easily on a tick containing such feathers.
    11. Some salt is thrown into a churn before churning to prevent the stealing of the butter.
    12. If one comes to a house where churning is in progress he should take a turn at the staff.
    13. One must never give anything out of the house while churning is in progress.
    14. One must never lend anything on Monday morning.
    15. The stick taken to a fair must be taken home again.
    16. You must never part with the halter of a horse you sell: take it home again.
