  1. One of the unlucky days of the year in November's day. On that night the people will not go outside their doors, because they think they will have bad luck for the year around.
    Another unlucky day in the year is the first day in May. The farmers will not go ploughing on that day because they also think they will do everything wrong, and they might meet with an accident when they are ploughing.
    The people in Claddagh long ago in olden times, would never cut their hair on Monday , because they thought would have some misfortune, and some bad luck. IF you broke a cup before you would break another thing in the house before the end of the week was out.
