    The implements which the tailor uses are the following: sewing machine, sewing needle, measuring tape, thimble, smoothing iron and scissors for cutting out.
    About 60 years ago tailors used to go from house to house making clothes.
    A tailor named Pinkman worked in this district at that time. He had no sewing machine, he sewed all by hand, which was very slow but the work was good. All the cloth required was spun and woven in the homes of the people. The sound of the spinning wheel could be heard in most of the houses. From the wool of the sheep they made blankets and under clothes, also frieze over-coats. From the flax they made linen sheets and shirts. These homemade frieze over-coats were very useful to Hugh O'Donnell's soldiers the night before the battle of the wild
