    In the townland Ardagh there is
    a field called "Paírc na Mallacht" near the
    the ruins of Temple More church,
    Monks owned that field and they
    used to feed sheep on it.
    One day the landlord's son
    went to dinner in the monastery
    which was beside the church. He
    wondered how the monks could have
    such nice mutton and he got to know
    that it was from the sheep which were
    fed on the field belonging to the monks.
    When he went home he told his
    father who put out the monks and
    took the field. The monks cursed the
    field and all the sheep the landlord
    put on it died.
