In Castlebaldwin also, there is a very dangerous cross-roads where many people had accidents. On one side of it there is a garden in which there are many trees growing, but it is to be cut away soon, so as to give a better view of the roads. Castlebaldwin itself is situated on the main road, about eight miles from Boyle and sixteen miles from Sligo. It is in the barony of Tirerill.
